Role Overview
The CASE Tester will support the quality assurance, validation and testing of SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance (PM) and Condition Assessment and Engineering (CASE) solutions. The role has a focus on test execution, defect analysis, requirements validation and collaboration with functional consultants and technical teams. The position requires strong understanding of maintenance processes, attention to detail and the ability to work within complex transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute end‑to‑end testing for SAP PM and CASE‑related processes, including system, integration, regression and user acceptance testing.
- Develop and maintain test scripts, test scenarios and traceability to business and functional requirements.
- Validate SAP PM configuration, process flows, asset structures and maintenance outcomes against design specifications.
- Conduct data validation for PM objects including equipment, functional locations, task lists and work orders.
- Support defect triage, defect analysis and coordination with functional and technical teams.
- Assist in validating integration points with MM, FI/CO, EWM, PS and related modules.
- Work with business stakeholders to ensure test coverage meets operational and compliance needs.
- Support cutover, migration validation and post‑go‑live assurance activities for PM and CASE solutions.
- Contribute to improving test processes, documentation quality and assurance practices.
- Demonstrated experience testing SAP PM or EAM processes in SAP S/4HANA or ECC environments.
- Understanding of maintenance processes including notifications, work orders, asset hierarchies and planning.
- Experience in test planning, test execution and defect management within large‑scale ERP programs.
- Ability to interpret functional specifications and translate them into detailed test cases.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Experience working in complex enterprise or government programs.
- Required Australian Citizenship and mandatory AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance.
- NV1 Security Clearance preferred.
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager, ALM tools or equivalent test management platforms.
- Exposure to mobile maintenance, CASE or condition‑based maintenance processes.
- Familiarity with public sector asset management frameworks.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
