12‑Month Contract (Initial) | Brisbane
An experienced Change & Communications Lead is required to support the delivery of a large-scale transformation initiative. This role will be responsible for designing and executing end‑to‑end change management and communication strategies to ensure successful adoption across people, processes, and systems.
This is a hands-on role, suited to someone who can operate as both a strategist and delivery lead, working closely with project teams and stakeholders to embed change effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive change management and communication strategies, including impact assessments, transition plans, and risk mitigation activities
- Design and deliver clear, targeted communications aligned to project milestones and business readiness needs
- Create and manage change and communication collateral, including newsletters, FAQs, guides, templates, and knowledge materials
- Establish and maintain digital communication channels and knowledge hubs
- Lead stakeholder engagement activities, building understanding, buy‑in, and sustained adoption
- Support business process transitions, ensuring impacted stakeholders are informed and supported
- Coordinate and facilitate training and adoption activities, including development of materials and delivery sessions
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) through coordination, stakeholder engagement, and feedback capture
- Monitor business readiness and adoption metrics, adjusting change approaches as required
- Lead or support business reference groups, workshops, and engagement sessions
- Contribute to benefits realisation activities, including tracking adoption and outcomes
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a Change and/or Communications Lead role
- Strong knowledge of change management frameworks(e.g. Prosci, Agile-based change)
- Proven experience delivering change and communications within complex, multi‑stakeholder environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Experience developing and delivering training and adoption materials
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently
- Experience working on digital transformation or system implementation programs
- Formal change management certification (e.g. Prosci, CCMP, AgilePM)
- Initial 12‑month contract, with strong likelihood of extension
- Brisbane‑based role
