About the role
You will provide other technical teams with configuration management guidance or advice and work closely with technical teams, managed service providers and senior stakeholders to improve service maturity, embed better ways of working and contribute to continuous improvement, with real opportunities to take ownership of configuration management initiatives and grow your influence as the program evolves.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end configuration management services, including identification, control, status accounting and audits
- Own and maintain the Configuration Management Plan, procedures, work practices, and provide configuration management guidance across the team
- Establish, manage and assure the integrity of configuration management databases, technical data lists, and baselines across service, software and engineering environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proven experience and/or certifications in ITIL Service Management with strong Configuration and Change Management expertise, including outside ITIL frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Configuration Management Systems and maintaining configuration and change processes in complex environments

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a current TSPV Security Clearance. The successful candidate will need to undergo an additional security assessment before commencing in the role.
