About the Company

Our client’s primary role is to defend Australia and its national interests, promote security and stability, and support the Australian community as directed by the Government.

About the role

You will support the branch to sustain ICT in alignment within approved financial profiles, business needs and the evolving ICT market. This position will develop and implement cost management strategies and techniques for Financial Year and multi-year sustainment planning cycles. In addition, they will assist APS to manage cost risk and produce artefacts as required to support data-driven decisions at relevant governance fora.

Role Responsibilities
  • Develop financial plans and forecasts for the sustainment of ICT.
  • Monitor and manage ICT expenditure and address any deviation from agreed tolerances.
  • Provide authoritative advice and guidance on the financial management of ICT, and analysis and modelling to facilitate effective financial control and data-driven decisions.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in developing financial plans and forecasts delivering complex software solutions.
  • ICT Enterprise cost analysis experience would be advantageous for this position
The successful candidate will demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 5.

  • 12-month contract, with 2 x 12-month extension options.

Security Requirements:

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a current TSPV Security Clearance. The successful candidate will need to undergo an additional security assessment before commencing in the role.
