About the Role:
The Cyber Security Specialist will lead and guide all cyber and security activities across the Federal Client’s CJC16 products, ensuring strong governance, compliance, risk management, and continuous security uplift. This role strengthens ICT security through vulnerability assessments, stakeholder engagement, incident management, and the development of accreditation, reporting, and training materials to support informed security decisions and audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver security assessment reports and continuous oversight of cyber risks across CJC16 and other ICT capabilities.
- Develop and deliver privileged user security education and awareness training packages.
- Provide procedural and technical security advice to support effective security controls and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate and conduct ICT security vulnerability assessments, risk reviews, and monthly patch compliance reporting.
- Produce and maintain security accreditation documentation and prepare systems for Stage 2 security audits.
- Manage and report ICT security incidents in accordance with Federal Client policies and security frameworks.
- Build strong relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support security improvement initiatives.
Work Environment: Full-time onsite
Security Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a minimum current NV2 Security Clearance.
