About the role:
We are seeking an experienced SAP BODS Data Conversion Lead to oversee and deliver end-to-end data conversion activities across large-scale SAP S/4HANA and SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) programs.
You will be responsible for ensuring data quality, integrity, and successful migration from legacy systems into SAP, working closely with senior stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership within complex transformation environments.

- Australian citizen with active AGSVA security clearance
- NV1 preferred, Baseline clearance considered
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data conversion planning, design, execution, and validation for SAP S/4HANA and SAP MDG programs
- Define data migration strategies, scope, timelines, and delivery approach
- Manage data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) activities across multiple teams
- Develop and maintain data mappings, transformation rules, and data quality standards
- Oversee data cleansing, enrichment, and harmonisation in line with MDG requirements
- Manage mock loads, cutover rehearsals, and production cutover execution
- Partner with business owners to validate data and resolve defects
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and data governance frameworks
- Lead and mentor data migration team members
- Identify risks and support mitigation planning and reporting to project leadership
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a Data Conversion Lead on large-scale SAP S/4HANA programs
- Strong hands-on expertise with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA data structures and master data domains
- End-to-end data migration delivery experience, including ETL design and execution
- Experience with SAP Migration Cockpit, BODS, and LSMW
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and transformation methodologies
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage senior business stakeholders
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
