Dayforce Reporting Analyst

The Client Our client is a well-established organisation undergoing continued optimisation of their HR and Payroll systems. With Dayforce at the core of their people technology landscape, they are focused on improving data quality, reporting efficiency, and workforce insights to support better decision-making across the business. This role sits within a collaborative HR operations environment that values accuracy, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and operational stakeholders to gather and document reporting requirements
  • Design, build, test, and maintain HR and Payroll reports directly within the Dayforce HCM platform
  • Extract and consolidate data from multiple Dayforce data points, modules, and tables to create accurate and meaningful reports
  • Ensure data integrity, validation, and alignment with payroll cycles, compliance, and audit requirements
  • Automate recurring reports and improve existing reporting processes to reduce manual effort
  • Act as a Dayforce reporting subject matter expert, supporting users and maintaining reporting documentation
Key Skills Required
  • Proven experience pulling data from the Dayforce HCM system and creating reports using native Dayforce reporting tools
  • Strong experience extracting and combining data from multiple data points within an HCM system, rather than using external BI tools
  • Background designing HR and Payroll reports, including headcount, workforce metrics, and compliance reporting
  • Solid understanding of HR and Payroll processes, employment lifecycle data, and pay-related reporting
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and validation
  • Experience with similar HCM platforms such as Workday, SuccessFactors, or similar will be considered
Please note, this role does not require Power BI or other external reporting tools. The focus is on Dayforce and comparable HCM-native reporting capability.

The Offer This is a 12-month fixed-term contract paying $130,000-$150,000 + super, based in Brisbane with a flexible hybrid working arrangement.
