About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Delivery & Operations Lead to provide senior leadership across operational delivery, service optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will be responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day operations, monitoring performance, managing risk, and driving strategic initiatives that improve efficiency and effectiveness across the program. This role suits a delivery leader who is comfortable operating in fast‑paced, matrixed environments and engaging confidently with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Operations Optimisation
- Analyse and improve existing operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to drive measurable process improvements.
- Embed best‑practice operational models across delivery teams.
- Establish, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational effectiveness.
- Review performance data regularly and implement corrective actions where required.
- Ensure delivery outcomes meet agreed service, quality, and compliance standards.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned to program and organisational objectives.
- Translate strategic priorities into executable operational plans.
- Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain and regularly update risk registers, ensuring proactive risk oversight.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand expectations and delivery needs.
- Communicate operational status, risks, and issues clearly and professionally.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for delivery and operations‑related matters.
- Ensure operational activities comply with organisational policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Introduce new tools, technologies, and methodologies to drive operational excellence.
- Proven experience in a senior operations or delivery leadership role, ideally within a complex, matrixed organisation.
- Strong analytical capability with experience in process improvement and optimisation.
- Demonstrated success delivering projects and operational initiatives end‑to‑end.
- Strong people leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capability.
- Solid experience in risk management and operational governance.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously within a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, project management, and process improvement tools.
- Degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA or Master’s in Operations Management (advantageous).
- Professional certifications such as:
- PMP
- Six Sigma
- or similar operational excellence / delivery certifications.
- Senior leadership role within a large‑scale, enterprise delivery environment.
