They operate at genuine enterprise scale, partnering with major banks and financial institutions on complex, high‑volume transaction platforms. This is a strategic integration programme with a strong runway and long‑term visibility.
About the Role
You will lead an integration squad delivering critical payment capabilities across NPP domains including APIs, Fraud, Disputes, Settlement and gateway platforms. Acting as the technical and delivery anchor, you’ll align engineering outcomes to business objectives while navigating complex regulatory and real‑time payment environments.
This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who can confidently bridge architecture, engineering and stakeholder engagement.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Proven experience leading payment or integration engineering teams
- Strong understanding of NPP processes and real‑time payments
- Ability to communicate technical trade‑offs and solution design decisions clearly
- Hands‑on background with:
- IBM ACE
- Java 8 / 17
- AWS, Linux Bash
- NodeJS, Terraform
- GitHub / GitHub Actions, code reviews
- Production issue troubleshooting
- Comfortable working in Agile delivery environments using Jira / Confluence
