About the Role
Whizdom Recruitment is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager who will play a key part in establishing the Integrated Sensor Architecture National Office (ISANO), supporting the integration of advanced sensor capabilities across Federal networks and systems. You will be responsible for leading project planning, coordination, governance and delivery activities across a multidisciplinary engineering environment. Working with a broad range of stakeholders, you will ensure that project objectives, schedules, risks and technical outcomes are effectively managed and delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and delivery frameworks.
- Coordinate engineering, integration and assurance activities.
- Manage project risks, dependencies and reporting requirements.
- Support technical governance and project milestone activities.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement across Defence and industry.
- Manage project budgets, resources and delivery timelines.
- Support test, evaluation and capability integration activities.
- Provide project management advice and support to senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex engineering or technology projects.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience working within Defence, government or highly regulated environments.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes to schedule.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and technical activities.
- Knowledge of systems integration, verification and validation or capability delivery environments is highly regarded.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science or related discipline.
- Relevant project management qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CPPM, CPPP or equivalent.
- Significant experience in Engineering or Project Management roles.
- Current NV1 Security Clearance
- Long-term engagement with a leading Defence program.
