ETL Tester

  • Contract role – 6 Months
  • Location – Melbourne or Sydney
  • Rate – up to $415 per day including super
Our client is a multinational corporation that provides information technology, consulting, and business process services to a range of clients across Government, Financial Services, Telecommunications, Retail and more.  

 They currently have an exciting opportunity for someone experienced in ETL Testing & Application Testing, within one of their insurance sector clients.  

 This role is open to candidates currently residing in Melbourne or Sydney, including those on working holiday visas and individuals without local experience.

Applicants must either be based in Australia or have confirmed plans to relocate. 

 

Required Experience:

  • Data Migration and Data Warehousing Testing:  Conduct thorough testing of data migration and data warehousing processes to ensure data integrity, accuracy, data encryption etc.
  • SQL Query Writing:  Develop and execute complex SQL queries to validate data transformations
  • Test Automation:  Utilize Python or other scripting languages to automate test processes and improve testing efficiency.
  • Test Data Management:  Should be able to create test data based on transformation rules in JIRA
  • Test Management:  Should be able to create, maintain test cases, validation scripts, test strategy, test plan, RTM
  • SDLC Cycle:  Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Test Management:  Manage and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Track and report defects and ensure timely resolution.
  • Test Automation:  Utilize Python or other scripting languages to automate test processes and improve testing efficiency.
 

Essential Skills

  • Experience in Insurance domain is highly preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
