About the role
This role will contribute to the production, maintenance, and quality assurance of geospatial data and cartographic outputs, supporting Defence operational and strategic requirements within a structured and governed Enterprise GIS environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Demonstrated experience in GIS data production, capture, and quality assurance within structured environments.
- Relevant vocational or tertiary qualification in geospatial science, GIS, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in GIS tools (e.g. ArcGIS/SOCET GXP) for feature extraction (2D and 3D), editing, and data management.
- Understanding of geospatial standards, data governance, and quality assurance practices.
- Ability to apply established methods to solve routine geospatial data issues.

- 12-month contract, with 2 x 12-month extension options.
Security Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a current TSPV Security Clearance. The successful candidate will need to undergo an additional security assessment before commencing in the role.
