Our client is a multinational corporation that provides information technology, consulting, and business process services to a range of clients across Government, Financial Services, Telecommunications, Retail and more.
About the Role:
They currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and security-focused GitHub SME for one of their FMCG clients who are undertaking a major modernisation initiative to consolidate and secure its code repositories on GitHub Enterprise Cloud.
As the GitHub SME on this project, you will lead this transformation, enforce enterprise-level security standards, and drive DevSecOps best practices across the organisation.
This role is open to candidates currently residing in Sydney or those with confirmed plans to relocate. Candidates on working holiday visas, and those with no local experience are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must have proven experience in GitHub Enterprise Cloud administration and enterprise security integration.
Required Experience:
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Extensive hands-on experience managing GitHub Enterprise Cloud environments at the organisation and enterprise level.
- Proven expertise in SAML SSO, SCIM, and IdP integration (e.g., Azure AD or Google Workspace), including full EMU setup and migration lifecycle.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and experience with GitHub Actions/Workflows for automation of security policies and metadata updates.
- Deep understanding of API security principles (OAuth, scopes, token usage) and experience reviewing integrations with platforms like Apigee and Microsoft Graph.
- Experience with Azure DevOps administration (nice to have).
- GitHub Certified Administrator or equivalent enterprise security certification (mandatory).
- Exceptional analytical skills to interpret CodeQL results and translate them into actionable remediation plans.
- Excellent communication skills to engage both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
