About the Role
Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the administration, support and continuous improvement of network and Microsoft infrastructure environments. You will work across Azure cloud services, Microsoft 365, networking, security, endpoint management and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain Azure infrastructure including Virtual Machines, VNets, storage and networking services.
- Configure and support network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs and SD-WAN.
- Administer Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory and hybrid identity solutions.
- Manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint Online.
- Support Azure Virtual Desktop and FSLogix environments.
- Administer Windows Server, Windows 11 and Microsoft Intune environments.
- Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot infrastructure, backups and storage platforms.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell automation scripts.
- Participate in infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations and business technology projects.
- Maintain documentation, diagrams and technical procedures while following change management and security processes.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in Infrastructure, Systems or Network Administration.
- Strong Microsoft Azure administration experience.
- Solid networking knowledge covering TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VPNs and firewalls.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID environments.
- Strong Windows Server and Active Directory administration skills.
- Experience with Intune and endpoint management platforms.
- Knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop and cloud-based infrastructure services.
- PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Highly Regarded
- Experience with FortiGate, FortiManager or similar enterprise networking platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft Graph/API administration.
- Experience within a multi-site environment or Managed Services (MSP) environment.
- Exposure to Microsoft security tools including Defender technologies.
- Experience with cloud migrations and infrastructure transformation projects.
