About the role
The Systems Engineering Lead will be required to identify systems engineering risks and quantify, manage and implement mitigation actions to address risk. Whilst this may be within the technical domain, there is an expectation that the Systems Engineering Lead will contribute to risk management across the multi-disciplined Program.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead and providing oversight for the development and maintenance of project engineering artefacts in the above areas of responsibility and technical certification (specifications, plans)
- Assisting the Program Safety Advisor in the development and maintenance of the Safety Case and Safety Reporting documentation in accordance with the System Safety Program Plan;
- Co-ordination of Commonwealth involvement in Industry-led verification and validation of system requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in an engineering field or related technical discipline.
- Must have minimum 10+ years post graduate engineering experience.
- Previous experience within the ADF Capability Life Cycle.
