About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Service Management Advisor to provide expert-level advice and development effort relating to Service Management Strategy, Governance and underlying IT Service Management Policy in the organisation:
You will:
- Set and oversee organisational policies for change management in live services and test environments, ensuring effective risk control.
- Lead the development and improvement of change control practices, monitoring compliance and consistent execution across the organisation.
- Shape and direct the incident management strategy, providing leadership during major incidents to minimise impact and ensure swift recovery.
- Develop organisational capabilities for incident management and promote collaboration to embed processes across teams.
- Drive strategic planning by developing and communicating plans, identifying risks and opportunities, and preparing reports and briefs for senior stakeholders.
- Build and maintain stakeholder engagement through influential communication, negotiation, and proactive issue resolution while ensuring compliance with legislative and policy frameworks.
The Successful Candidate
- Will have at least 10 years experience in a similar position
- Will have demonstrated experience in Executive leadership capabilities.
- Will already hold an active NV2 minimum clearance

Location: The role will be based in the ACT.
Contract terms: 12 months from commencement date, plus potential extensions
Security Requirements: Current NV2 clearance required at minimum with a preference for TSPV.
