About the role:
The Junior Cutover Consultant will support cutover planning and execution activities for SAP HANA transformation programs. This position works under the guidance of Senior Cutover and Project Management team to ensure smooth system transitions, readiness, and deployment outcomes across business and technical streams. The role requires strong coordination skills, willingness to learn, and the ability to work within structured project methodologies.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Be an Australian citizen with an active Baseline AGSVA clearance (NV1 preferred)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, IT, or project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and maintenance of cutover plans, checklists, schedules, and readiness materials.
- Assist in coordinating cutover tasks across business, technical, data migration, testing and functional teams.
- Contribute to cutover workshops, rehearsals, mock conversions, and go‑live readiness activities.
- Track and report cutover progress, risks, and issues to senior cutover leads and project managers.
- Work with stakeholders to validate cutover prerequisites and identify gaps.
- Assist with documentation including runbooks, cutover logs, status reports, and post‑go‑live support materials.
- Collaborate with SAP HANA project teams to understand integration points, dependencies, and sequencing.
- Support hypercare activities, including issue triage and coordination with support teams.
- Ensure all activities align with project governance, quality standards, and change control processes.
- Some experience or exposure to SAP, ERP transformation projects, or technology implementation environments.
- Understanding of basic project management principles, cutover processes, or deployment methodologies.
- Strong communication, coordination, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a structured project team environment.
- Proficiency with Excel, scheduling tools, and project documentation.
- High attention to detail and willingness to learn complex deployment processes.
- Exposure to SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, or related ERP modules.
- Experience working in government or regulated environments.
- Understanding of data migration, testing, or change management concepts.
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project delivery.
