Our client is a high‑profile Australian Government organisation operating at the forefront of national security, cyber defence and advanced technology. About the role

You will prepare raw data for analytical or operational uses. You will make data accessible so that it can be used for optimisation, delivery of services and enhanced analytics solutions.

Role Responsibilities
  • Identify and undertake analysis to define, structure and solve complex data engineering challenges.
  • Understand, use and build tools and techniques to develop and test data engineering solutions to achieve business outcomes.
  • Provide advice on requirements, current and future state models and plans, designs and solutions to improve data interoperability, storage, analysis and transmission. 
Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT or similar
  • Demonstrated experience in analytics software
What is on offer
  • 12-month contract, with 2 x 12-month extension options.
  • Competitive hourly rate.

Security Requirements:

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a current TSPV Security Clearance. The successful candidate will need to undergo an additional security assessment before commencing in the role.
