Our client is a multinational corporation that provides information technology, consulting, and business process services to a range of clients across Government, Financial Services, Telecommunications, Retail and more.
They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Linux Administrator within one of their energy sector clients.
This role is open to candidates currently residing in Melbourne, including those on working holiday visas and individuals without local experience. Applicants must either be based in Melbourne or have confirmed plans to relocate.
Required Experience:
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Hands-on experience in managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems.
- Expert level experience with performance tuning of the operating system, kernel, and server hardware.
- Good working knowledge with configuration management through RedHat Satellite, Puppet and Ansible
- Good working knowledge with Linux technology solution deployed in large environments like Centrify, NTP etc.
- Working knowledge with day-to-day performance monitoring and managing incidents for all Linux servers.
- Exposure with Infrastructure-as-Code either with or relatable to Puppet and Ansible.
- Experience working in environments encompassing virtualization, networking devices, storage, and Microsoft Azure environments.
