About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Performance Testing professional for a short‑term contract in Melbourne. You will play a key role in validating system performance during the SAP ECC migration from AIX, reviewing existing performance assets, executing tests, analysing results, and providing actionable recommendations. The role is client‑facing and requires strong technical expertise and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review existing performance test cases with the Test Manager and gain a strong understanding of business and technical requirements
- Review and update existing LoadRunner scripts as required
- Execute performance and load tests and deliver accurate, timely results
- Analyse test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide root‑cause analysis
- Provide clear recommendations based on performance test outcomes
- Own end‑to‑end performance test strategy, planning, execution, and reporting
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, and network teams to resolve performance issues
- Produce performance test reports, dashboards, and executive summaries
- Track performance risks, defects, and remediation actions
- Support Go‑Live readiness, capacity planning, and post‑release validation
- Ensure compliance with SDLC, quality standards, and governance processes
- Mentor and guide performance testing team members where required
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong expertise in LoadRunner(mandatory), including LoadRunner Enterprise, VuGen, and Analysis
- Proven experience reviewing and maintaining existing LoadRunner scripts
- Experience with performance monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, SiteScope, and PerfMon
- Solid understanding of web architectures, microservices, APIs, and cloud platforms
- Database performance experience, including SQL tuning and query analysis
- Scripting experience (C, JavaScript), including correlation and parameterisation techniques
- Familiarity with CI/CD integration(Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with proven client‑facing experience
- Demonstrated leadership or lead‑level performance testing experience
