SCM – Logistics Management Consultant - SAP S/4HANA

You will play a critical role in shaping SAP S/4HANA logistics and order‑to‑cash solutions across multi‑year transformation initiatives throughout Australia.

The end client is a confidential organisation undertaking major SAP S/4HANA transformation and supply chain modernisation. This position supports high‑impact programs within a secure and regulated environment across national operations.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an SCM – Logistics Management Consultant to deliver advisory, design, configuration, and implementation services across SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD) and broader supply chain processes. The role spans functional design, solution build, testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live support while collaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams, and integration partners.

This is a long‑term contract role, contributing to major enterprise transformation initiatives across Sydney, Melbourne, and Canberra.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, solution design, and configuration of SAP S/4HANA SD and related logistics processes.
• Advise clients on SAP best practices across order management, pricing, credit management, deliveries, transportation, billing, and returns.
• Support integration with SAP MM, FI, EWM, TM, and related modules.
• Conduct process mapping, fit‑gap assessments, and workshops with business stakeholders.
• Develop functional specifications, testing scenarios, training materials, and end‑user documentation.
• Execute configuration activities, unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.
• Provide expertise during cutover planning, data migration validation, and go‑live support phases.
• Contribute to solution governance, quality assurance, and change control processes.
• Participate in design authority or architecture discussions relating to SAP SD and Supply Chain.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and process optimisation within client engagements.
• Mentor junior consultants and support internal capability uplift.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong implementation experience in SAP S/4HANA SD, including core order‑to‑cash configuration.
• Good understanding of logistics execution such as deliveries, output management, shipment processing, ATP, and integration with warehouse and transport modules.
• Experience across full project lifecycles including fit‑gap, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
• Familiarity with integration across SAP FI, MM, EWM, and TM.
• Ability to produce functional specifications for RICEFW objects and collaborate with technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into SAP solutions.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills across business and project teams.
• Experience in large‑scale transformation or S/4HANA migration projects (desirable).
Australian Citizenship and AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance required; NV1 preferred.

Education and Certifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Business, IT, Engineering, or related fields.
• SAP certifications in S/4HANA Sales or Supply Chain modules (preferred).
