About the role:
The Master Scheduler will be responsible for developing and maintaining the portfolio-wide schedule, managing dependencies across multiple workstreams and vendors, and ensuring accurate reporting for governance forums. Working closely with EPMO, Strategic Transformation and the Delivery Teams, they will play a key role in keeping the program aligned, on track, and proactively managing risks.
Key Responsibilities include:
Schedule Management
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive program-wide schedule across all workstreams and releases.
- Ensure alignment between individual project schedules and the overarching program timeline.
- Regularly update, track, and communicate schedule changes to stakeholders.
Dependency Management
- Maintain a program-wide dependency register across internal teams, vendors, and partners.
- Identify schedule conflicts, risks, and blockers early and escalate appropriately.
- Facilitate the resolution of dependency issues through collaboration with delivery teams.
Reporting & Governance
- Produce accurate schedule and dependency reporting for governance forums and steering committees.
- Support program governance by ensuring schedule integrity, transparency, and traceability
- Use tools such as the PPM Tool and PowerBI for tracking, reporting, and documentation.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with portfolio and project teams to validate timelines and dependencies.
- Collaborate with project directors, project managers, change managers and business leaders to ensure alignment with organisational priorities.
- Provide clear, structured communication to support decision-making and program visibility.
The Successful candidate
- Proven experience in program scheduling and dependency management within large scale enterprise transformation office.
- Strong proficiency in scheduling apps such as PPM Tool and management dashboards such as PowerBI
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage complex schedules, resolve conflicts, and maintain accuracy under pressure
- Experience working in Public Safety environments and large transformation programs (highly desirable)
- Knowledge of Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies
- Familiarity with risk management and governance frameworks
Located in Brisbane with a Hybrid working arrangement.
Role to commence ASAP – Contract initially until end June 2026.
