About the role:
We are seeking a skilled Mobile App Developer to join a high-performing agile team focused on designing and developing cross-platform mobile applications. You’ll play a key role in leveraging Xamarin/.NET/MAUI to deliver robust solutions, collaborating with technical experts and contributing to new software programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using Xamarin, .NET, and MAUI.
- Work collaboratively in agile scrum teams to deliver innovative solutions.
- Participate in the full mobile application lifecycle: concept, design, test, release, and support.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to technical challenges.
- Contribute to the adoption of new technologies and best practices.
- Ensure code quality and maintainability using versioning tools (e.g., Git).
- Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) for mobile applications.
- Demonstrate UI/UX design sensibility and contribute to user-centric design.
- Minimum 5+ years of mobile app development experience, with at least 3 years focusing on .NET/MAUI, Xamarin.Forms, and Xamarin.Native.
- Strong knowledge of C# and MAUI/.NET framework.
- Proficiency in building cross-platform applications for iOS and Android using Xamarin.
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
- Experience in mobile application lifecycle management.
- This role requires applicants to have Australian Citizenship and be eligible for a Baseline Security Clearance.
- Experience working with government agencies.
- Experience with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Knowledge of CI/CD for mobile applications.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools (e.g., Git).
- Experience working with agile methodologies.
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles.
This is a long-term contract role based in Brisbane, Queensland. You’ll play a key role in delivering innovative, secure, and user-focused mobile solutions in a dynamic, high-impact environment.
This role requires applicants to have Australian Citizenship and be eligible for a Baseline Security Clearance.
