About the role:
We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Administrator to manage, support, and optimise our MuleSoft Anypoint Platform environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on platform administration experience and must hold the MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect – Level 1 (ARC730) certification.
This role is responsible for ensuring platform stability, security, governance, and operational excellence across development, test, and production environments. The successful candidate will work closely with solution architects, delivery teams, and client stakeholders to ensure integration solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to best practices.’
Key Responsibilities
Platform Administration
- Administer and maintain MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or hybrid deployments).
- Manage environments, business groups, VPCs, VPNs, load balancers, and network configurations.
- Configure and maintain Runtime Manager, API Manager, and Anypoint Exchange.
- Monitor application performance, logs, and alerts across environments.
- collaborate with infrastructure and integration architects in the architecture and design of the greenfield MuleSoft deployment
- align platform design + build to integration application performance needs, and in a way that supports scalability and high throughput flows
- assist team and customer in ensuring and validating that the Mulesoft platform deployment will meet or exceed government Protected Data requirements
- review solution design, integration design and infrastructure design associated with the Mulesoft platform deployment on AWS and identify potential limitations or constraints that may limit performance/security compliance etc
- Implement and manage RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
- Enforce API governance policies, security standards, and compliance requirements.
- Manage certificates, secrets, and secure properties.
- Support audits and ensure alignment with enterprise security frameworks.
- Support CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Oversee deployment strategies across DEV, SIT, UAT, and PROD.
- Troubleshoot deployment failures and runtime issues.
- Provide L2/L3 support for Mule applications.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and incident resolution.
- Capacity planning and performance tuning.
- Maintain high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
- Work closely with Integration Architects, Developers, DevOps, and Security teams.
- Maintain platform documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.
- Provide platform guidance and best practices to development teams.
