The Role:
This role will work in a specialised team focused on enhancing the Departments staff experience through reliable and fit for purpose End User technology. We partner with internal and vendor stakeholders to provide specialist expertise in planning, investment, and sourcing processes; oversee health assessments and evaluate remediation options and review architectures and designs, to assure they align with the Modern Workplace Program and Employee Technology Experience Strategies the team develop.
Day to day actions and duties the Labour Hire worker will perform:
• Support the development of the Departments M365 roadmap by building the Departments expertise of M365 and related solutions including Copilot and Power Platforms through knowledge sharing, presenting at internal forums, and undertaking direct knowledge transfer with Department staff.
• Support the integration of M365, Intune, Windows 11 and Windows Hello For Business with Department systems and support Department developers to integrate with and leverage M365 capabilities within their applications
• Work with a variety of internal and external teams and stakeholders to shape and drive optimal technology solutions and adoption for the Department and its staff within the scope of ETE platforms
• Actively prototype, configure and develop technical solutions within M365 and related products to support the Departments project objectives and deliverables, including development of technical design artefacts for a stakeholder and executive audiences
• Work with project teams and Department Cyber teams to ensure M365 and related products meet PSPF, Essential 8 and other stated Department requirements for cyber security by reviewing security documentation and artefacts for technical accuracy
Skills and Experience Required:
• Architect secure, scalable solutions across M365, Intune, Autopilot, and Windows Hello for Business and Windows 11
• Experience in M365 administration ie Teams, SharePoint, Purview, Copilot, Power Platforms desirable
• Technical knowledge and support for enterprise adoption of M365 services.
• Demonstrated experience in operating in complex, multi-vendor enterprise environments with hybrid cloud integration including certifications in ITIL 4 and SIAM
• Demonstrated working knowledge of SAML, OIDC, and ADFS for secure authentication flows
• Must hold or ability to obtain NV-1 - Ability to obtain security clearance
• Actively participate in knowledge/skills transfer activities with Department staff.
Location and Contract Term: This role is based in Canberra, Brisbane or Melbourne. 12 month contract with 2 x 6-month extension option pending budget and delegate approval.
Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian Citizens and hold a NV1 Security Clearance or the ability to obtain
