About the Role: We are seeking an experienced OpenText Technical Consultant – SAP Basis to join a high-performance team delivering enterprise-grade solutions. You’ll be responsible for the installation, configuration, and support of OpenText xECM for SAP, working across multiple environments and ensuring seamless integration and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade OpenText xECM components including Content Server, Directory Services, Web Services, and Archive Centre.
- Support full lifecycle implementations of OpenText xECM for SAP—from design to go-live.
- Perform system monitoring, patch management, performance tuning, and backup/recovery.
- Collaborate with SAP Basis teams to ensure seamless integration and system stability.
- Provide technical documentation and support knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Extensive hands-on experience with OpenText xECM for SAP.
- Proven track record in SAP Extended ECM implementations.
- Strong knowledge of OpenText architecture and administration.
- Experience with OpenText System Center and related tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- OpenText and SAP certifications.
- Experience delivering complex SAP projects in government or enterprise environments.
- NV1 clearance (or Baseline clearance with eligibility to obtain NV1).
- Australian Citizenship (mandatory due to security clearance requirements).
- 6-month contract
- $140/hour package (inclusive of super)
- Sydney, Melbourne, or Canberra location
- Work on a nationally significant SAP transformation program
- Travel expenses covered where applicable
