About the role:
An opportunity exists for an Operating Model Design Lead to work with one of their clients in the energy sector, where you will drive the design and implementation of an enhanced operating model aligned with the organisation's strategic direction.
Day to day, the role involves working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to define organisational structures, clarify roles and responsibilities, and develop position descriptions that support strategic outcomes.
The Lead will facilitate workshops, gather input from stakeholders, and ensure alignment across teams. In addition, the role is responsible for designing and delivering capability uplift programs that support team development and enable high performance across the organisation.
Required Experience:
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Experience in operating model design and implementation within large or complex organisations.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Capability to lead initiatives that:
- Define organisational structure
- Clarify roles and responsibilities
- Deliver practical tools such as position descriptions and capability frameworks
- Experience in workforce capability uplift and organisational change, in particular, strong understanding of change management practices and tools.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while meeting project milestones.
- Excellent communication skills and a structured, outcome-driven approach.
- A strategic mindset with excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to translate business objectives into practical design and delivery solutions.
This is a contract role, based in Perth, WA.
