Our Federal Government client is currently seeking Operations Coordinators to join their team in Canberra, ACT.

About the role:
An Operations Coordinator plays a key role in protecting Australia’s digital environment by coordinating timely, effective responses to cyber intrusions impacting government, industry and critical national networks.
Role Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and improvement of incident response policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and oversee security incident responses, hunt investigations and operational support for significant events.
- Work across multiple teams to deliver incident response and hunt activities, including direct engagement with affected stakeholders.
- Maintain broad knowledge across key technical disciplines, spanning both defensive and offensive cyber capabilities.
- Experience contributing to incident management, investigation, and response activities, including working within established policies and procedures under guidance.
- Ability to support the development of foundational information risk management plans with some supervision.
- Capability to assist in managing third‑party security requirements, including helping to define expectations and monitor compliance as part of a team.
- 12-month contract, with 2 x 12-month extension options.

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a current NV2 Security Clearance. The successful candidate will need to undergo an additional security assessment before commencing in the role.
