About the Role
An exciting contract opportunity is available for an experienced Data Consultant working as an integral part of a project team.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to adopt the project Data Migration Strategy
- Define and update DM catalogue and scope of objects
- Planning and overseeing Data Migration Cycles.
- Track progress of DM cycles
- Review and analyze data reconciliation post migration
- Monitor duration of the loads and feed into cutover planning
As an experienced consultant you will be a self-starter and have strong technical data migration skills, backed up by proven hands-on experience, ideally across different industries. You will have the ability to work under pressure and must be able to communicate effectively with customer stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ Years of functional experience delivering Data Migration in an Oracle Cloud environment
- Excellent knowledge of the Oracle Cloud Data Model
- Minimum of 3 full Oracle Cloud Implementations cycles
- Ability to multi-task and to work independently
- Strong client facing, communication and client management skills
- Ability to travel to client sites.
- Strong experience in Oracle-Specific Data Migration Tools (FBDI, ADFDI, Oracle Cloud REST & SOAP APIs for loading and validating data); Oracle Open Interfaces for cross‑system data loads
- Strong knowledge of SQL/PLSQL; BI Publisher (BIP); OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence)
Desirable Experience
- Good functional knowledge of Oracle Financials, Procurement and Inventory
- Oracle Cloud Implementation Certification(s).
- Understanding of Oracle Cloud products and integrating them with other on-premise or cloud applications.
- Good knowledge of the reporting and analytical tools available as part of Oracle Cloud.
Mandatory Requirements:
Candidates must be an Australian Citizen with an active AGSVA Baseline clearance.
