About the End Client

The end client is a large organisation undertaking a major Oracle Fusion Financials transformation, with a strong focus on Procure‑to‑Pay and end‑to‑end financial process uplift. This role supports a strategic cloud ERP implementation involving multiple stakeholders, complex integrations, and strict governance requirements.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Oracle Procure‑to‑Pay Functional Lead to play a senior, customer‑facing role across the full delivery lifecycle of an Oracle Financials Cloud program.

You will lead functional design across Procure‑to‑Pay and broader Financials streams, act as the key interface between business stakeholders and the delivery team, and guide solution design, configuration, and implementation using Oracle Modern Best Practices.

This role suits a confident Oracle Cloud functional leader who thrives in complex environments and enjoys shaping solutions while mentoring and guiding stakeholders.

Start: 1 June 2026
Locations: Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Finance Design Workshops, Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), and Train‑the‑Trainer sessions.
  • Analyse current‑state processes and design future‑state solutions aligned to Oracle Fusion Cloud best practices.
  • Drive functional solution design, providing options analysis and recommendations where multiple approaches exist.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Finance SMEs and business stakeholders.
  • Provide functional input into overall solution design and architecture.
  • Configure Oracle Fusion Financials, including document configuration and setup.
  • Provide functional inputs for:
    • Data migration
    • Reporting
    • Integrations
  • Work closely with technical teams across interface design, development, and testing.
  • Contribute to implementation documentation, functional design specifications, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Operate as a self‑starter, managing priorities and delivering outcomes under pressure.
Required Skills & Experience

  • Up to 10 years’ functional experience delivering Oracle Financials Cloud solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience across multiple end‑to‑end Oracle Cloud implementation cycles.
  • Strong background in:
    • Solution design
    • Requirements analysis
    • Functional configuration and documentation
    • Troubleshooting and integration design
  • Proven experience working closely with technical teams on integrations and data flows.
  • Strong understanding of application implementation methodologies.
  • Excellent client‑facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams concurrently.

Security Clearance

  • AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance required.
