About the role:
The Principal Business Analyst will lead and consult with representatives across the state in the identification, analysis and documentation of business processes and requirements related to the development, configuration and implementation including SAP ECC6 HR/Payroll, Infor WFM Rostering and SAP Finance, business, and logistics (S/4HANA) to meet the needs of all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture business requirements to provide input into existing and new solution functionality to maximise the user experience, solution efficiencies and cost effectiveness of workforce management processes.
- Develop high quality documentation for all stakeholder groups.
- Lead the analysis of business, user and system requirements and provide advice on the application of the integrated workforce management solutions to optimise local and enterprise-wide business outputs.
- Conduct and supervise the analysis of existing business processes, and future business processes, within the context of the corporate enterprise solutions.
- Oversee the research and undertake process reengineering including identifying variations to policy and procedural matters affecting the efficient operation of the allocated area of responsibility.
- Provide advice with the development and implementation of project and release management plans that link with Department and branch outcomes.
- Provide specialist strategic and operational advice on business and solution processes, using experience and knowledge of the business to influence strategic directions.
- Manage capability and resource development by leading and mentoring multidisciplinary team(s).
- Actively manage a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety, and ethical behaviour.
- There may be a requirement to work out of hours, weekends and public holidays to ensure the successful delivery of the enterprise solutions.
The Ideal Candidate:
An ‘ideal candidate’ would be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience with SAP S/4HANA finance, business and logistics solution, SAP ECC6 HR Payroll solution or Infor WFM Rostering solution as a Business Analyst.
