About the Role
As a Product Manager, you will work closely with user researchers and cross-functional delivery teams to create and enhance products and services that meet user needs. You’ll be responsible for prioritising product components based on user requirements and ensuring successful delivery across multiple divisions. This role involves complex problem-solving, strategic decision-making, and influencing outcomes that impact operational and political objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive product and business planning processes across teams.
- Analyse customer needs, market trends, and ROI considerations.
- Assess supplier and industry partner offerings.
- Ensure product requirements and timelines are met.
- Define success metrics and maintain alignment across divisions.
To excel in this role, you will have:
- A proven track record of delivering technology products in large organisations.
- Strong understanding of product management principles and development models.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams using agile and user-centred design practices.
- Ability to engage stakeholders and improve user experiences.
- Knowledge of technology delivery in regulatory or government environments.
- Location: Canberra, ACT.
- Contract: 12 months with up to two 12-month extensions.

Location: The role is based in Canberra ACT
Contract terms: 12 months from commencement date, plus potential extensions
SFIA level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 6.
Security Requirements: Must be an Australian Citizens with a current minimum NV1 (Negative Vetting 1) security clearance. Candidates with a current Defence Intelligence Agency recognised Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) are highly preferred.
