About the role
An opportunity exists for a Project Manager to be responsible for planning and managing technology projects which may include delivery of new applications or components, extension or upgrade of existing applications or components.
The Project Manager will coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to lead the planning and the delivery of enterprise solutions following established Release Management processes, enhancing where required PRINCE2 or Managing Successful Programs (MSP) methodologies.
The Project Manager may also be required to lead the development of a business case to seek funding for future initiatives.
Required Experience:
In addition to 7-10 years of experience in project management related roles, and experience with project management methodologies (Prince 2 preferred), the ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- A good balance of HR/Payroll/ Rostering or Finance system technical and functional project management experience,
- Leadership of HR/Payroll, Rostering or Finance product suite upgrades.
- Experience in developing business cases and PRINCE2 products for HR/Payroll, Rostering or Finance projects, including tailoring methodologies to establish the project management environment unique.
- Proven experience in the delivery of large and complex HR/Payroll, Rostering or Finance based projects.
- Proven stakeholder relationship management skills to support the business, including the ability to initiate relationships and influence key stakeholders.
- Proven excellent negotiation, consultation, facilitation and effective written and oral communication skills
- Excellent meeting facilitation skills
- Ability to mentor other staff and be willing to skill share with team members where appropriate.
- Experience in release management processes to undertake the planning of the upgrade landscape.
- Experience in providing innovative solutions and plan to resolve application, technical infrastructure and business process issues.
