About the role:
The Project Manager leads and manages the delivery of allocated projects so that the planned outcomes are achieved to schedule, scope, budget, and benefits realisation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Manage projects to ensure delivery to schedule and scope, within budget, and with risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and constraints well understood and managed to achieve successful outcomes.
- Ensure key stakeholders are engaged throughout the project lifecycle to drive fit for purpose outcomes and ensure seamless integration of outcomes with business as usual.
- Develop and control project documentation and deliverables to ensure high quality artefacts are produced that meet the requirements of the project and support the delivery of sustainable business benefits.
- Establish, manage, and report on project budgets, scope, issues and risks (including preparation of variations and other project control documentation as required).
- Managing and balancing the interests of the disparate internal and external stakeholders with competing agendas, against the overall operational service delivery.
- Achieving critical deadlines and milestones within tight timelines / budgets to the required standards.
- Supporting transformational change in an industrially complex environment, potential resistance to change, and the need for both operational and cultural uplift.
- Complex operational and technical environment with legacy systems and limited enterprise-wide systems concurrently undergoing significant change.
- Qualification in project management e.g., Prince 2 or Agile, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8-year Project Management experience in managing the delivery of projects in Business and Information Technology.
- Strong proven ability to establish relationships, influence, and work in partnership with stakeholders at senior level.
This contract is available for an initial 6-month term.
Located in Sydney, NSW - this role offers a hybrid working arrangement.
