The end client is a major organisation undergoing a significant multi‑year digital transformation program. This role plays a critical part in translating technical design outputs into clear, meaningful user experiences that support both immediate project objectives and broader transformation goals.
About the Role
Responsible for the successful delivery of an industry-focused solution engagement leveraging Microsoft and SAP
To be considered for this role you will need an active Baseline Clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end project delivery for key integration project, from initiation through execution and closure.
- Translate opportunity scope, solution intent, and customer outcomes into a clear delivery plan aligned to ISC engagement models.
- Ensure delivery aligns to agreed scope, milestones, commercials, and success criteria.
- Operate as the delivery lead within an industry solution context, coordinating across Microsoft and SAP workstreams.
- Work closely with ISC Solution Leads to ensure business, technical, and industry requirements are met.
- Support transition from pre-sales to delivery, ensuring continuity of knowledge and expectations.
- Manage integrated delivery across:
- SAP solutions (e.g. S/4HANA, ECC, Fiori, BW, integrations)
- Microsoft technologies (Azure, Data & AI, Integration Services, Power Platform, M365 where applicable)
- Track cross-platform dependencies, risks, and integration milestones.
- Ensure delivery teams remain aligned to Microsoft architectural and security standards.
- Establish and run delivery governance appropriate for an ISC engagement, including:
- RAID management
- Status reporting to Microsoft and customer stakeholders
- Steering committee and executive updates
- Proactively identify delivery, commercial, and customer risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Act as the primary delivery interface with customer stakeholders.
- Coordinate delivery partners and system integrators contributing to the ISC solution.
- Manage expectations, changes, and communications across all parties.
- Track delivery effort against the opportunity plan and commercial model.
- Support financial governance, forecasting, and change control.
- Ensure delivery outcomes align with the agreed ISC engagement objectives and value proposition.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Baseline Clearance Required
- 10+ years’ experience delivering enterprise technology projects, preferably in consulting or solution-led engagements.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-workstream programs.
- Strong understanding of delivery governance within structured frameworks (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
- SAP & Microsoft Experience
- Experience delivering projects involving SAP platforms and Microsoft technologies.
- Ability to manage dependencies across ERP, cloud, data, and integration workstreams.
- Confidence engaging with architects, engineers, and functional consultants.
- Experience working in a solution-led, customer-facing consulting environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across executive, technical, and business audiences.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous or evolving opportunity-led engagements.
- Clear, concise communication skills with executive presence.
- Ability to lead virtual and matrixed teams without direct authority.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability.
Desirable Experience
- SAP or Microsoft certifications (e.g. SAP Activate, Azure Fundamentals, PMP, PRINCE2).
- Industry experience relevant to the customer context of the opportunity.
