About the role:
A Project Manager leads the successful delivery of projects by driving progress, coordinating people and resources, and ensuring outcomes are achieved with clarity and purpose.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multi‑disciplinary teams, coordinating project activities and supporting strategic planning, governance, and workforce management.
- Provide effective team leadership through clear communication, defined performance expectations, and consistent guidance.
- Oversee project schedules, risks, budgets, and resources, and prepare high‑quality briefings, reports, submissions, and progress updates.
- Apply established technical, operational, professional, and project management practices to ensure effective delivery.
- Identify risks and opportunities and incorporate them into planning, decision‑making, and priority setting.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, communicating with influence and negotiating to achieve outcomes.
What you will bring:
- Proven ability to take responsibility for defining, planning, and delivering medium‑scale projects, providing effective leadership, applying appropriate project management methods, managing change control and risks, maintaining realistic plans, and ensuring deliverables meet agreed cost, time, quality, and resource expectations.
- Experience defining and managing scope and requirements for initiatives of medium complexity, facilitating stakeholder input, supporting prioritisation, establishing baselines, securing agreement, and ensuring requirements remain traceable to their source.
- Strong stakeholder relationship skills, including identifying communication needs, translating engagement strategies into actionable activities, facilitating open dialogue, acting as a key point of contact, supporting informed decision‑making, and ensuring technical and business information is effectively shared.

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a current Top Security Clearance. The successful candidate will need to undergo an additional security assessment before commencing in the role.
