About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Project Manager to lead SAP HANA implementation, upgrade, and migration projects across large-scale enterprise environments. This is a long-term, multi-year contract offering exposure to cutting-edge technology and the chance to work with multidisciplinary teams on internationally significant projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP HANA-related projects, including design, migration, upgrade, optimisation, and integration activities.
- Manage full project lifecycle delivery: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, risk plans, and governance documentation in line with organisational requirements.
- Coordinate technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to achieve delivery outcomes.
- Oversee change management, cutover planning, and transition-to-operations for SAP environments.
- Provide accurate project reporting, financial tracking, and milestone management to senior executives.
- Ensure compliance with government, organisational, and ICT security frameworks.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery methods, quality assurance, and technical governance.
- Extensive experience managing complex SAP transformation or SAP HANA initiatives.
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, hosting environments, and migration approaches.
- Demonstrated capability managing multimillion-dollar technology programmes within government or large enterprise.
- Proven leadership of cross-functional teams, vendors, and specialist technical resources.
- Advanced stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including executive-level reporting.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Deep knowledge of project governance, risk management, and financial management practices.
- Australian Citizenship and AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance required; NV1 Security Clearance preferred.
- Relevant project management certifications (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile) highly desirable.
- Experience in Federal Government, or other regulated environments.
- Experience coordinating SAP Basis, infrastructure, cloud, and security teams.
- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and S/4HANA transition tools.
- Long-term, multi-year contract with extension potential.
- Work on internationally significant SAP transformation projects.
- Hybrid working arrangements across Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, and Ballarat.
