About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Release & Delivery Manager to lead and execute end-to-end release and deployment activities within a fast-paced, Agile environment.
This is a hands-on role with a strong DevOps and CI/CD focus, responsible for managing Salesforce releases and deployments while driving best‑practice release management, environment management and continuous improvement. You will work closely with delivery teams, vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure reliable, high-quality releases that support rapid and secure service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end releases and Salesforce deployments
- Maintaining and enhancing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Driving alignment with release, change, project and operational teams
- Establishing and maintaining governance, policies, standards and processes for release and CI/CD operations
- Supporting development teams across source control, build automation, testing and deployment
- Troubleshooting complex Salesforce deployment issues and environment conflicts
- Championing DevOps and SRE-style delivery practices
- Identifying opportunities for automation and infrastructure as code
You are a proactive and collaborative Release & Delivery Manager with deep experience in Salesforce DevOps environments and a strong understanding of modern delivery practices.
You will bring:
- Strong experience managing complex Salesforce releases and deployments
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling and best practices
- Proven ability to troubleshoot Salesforce deployment failures, metadata conflicts and environment synchronisation issues
- Experience across Agile delivery, including release, environment, test and change management
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps tools and Azure DevOps
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices, static code analysis and security standards
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and leadership skills
- A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to influence cultural change
Location: The role is based in Canberra ACT.
Office Type: Hybrid
Contract terms: 6 months from commencement date
Estimated Hours: 40 per week
Security Requirements: Due to the nature of this position, candidates must hold Australian Citizenship and be willing to undergo a police check
