About the client and role:
Our client is a leading professional services and consulting firm, delivering strategy, technology, systems integration, and operations support across industries including Government, Financial Services, and Utilities.
They are seeking a highly SAP Data and Finance Project Manager to lead complex SAP data, finance and EIM‑related projects within a large enterprise environment. The successful candidate will oversee end‑to‑end project delivery, manage client stakeholders and ensure high‑quality project outcomes within agreed timelines and budgets. This role focuses on SAP data governance, data migration, finance process optimisation and delivery management across SAP S/4HANA and related ecosystems.

- Lead SAP data and finance transformation project deliverables.
- Oversee data governance, data quality, data migration and master data management activities in SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resourcing and risk tracking across complex SAP programs.
- Drive integration between finance functional teams, data teams and technical SAP specialists.
- Provide expert guidance on SAP financial processes, reporting structures and data models.
- Coordinate project deliverables with offshore and onshore teams to ensure high‑quality execution.
- Maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectations management.
- Ensure all project documentation meets organisational and regulatory standards.
- Support change management activities, including training, readiness assessments and transition planning.
- Promote best‑practice delivery methodologies (Agile, Hybrid or Waterfall), depending on project context.
- Extensive experience as a Project Manager delivering SAP data, finance or EIM‑focused projects.
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA data structures, financial modules and EIM capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience leading large‑scale SAP data migration or financial transformation programs.
- Proven ability to manage diverse technical teams across multiple geographies.
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills within complex enterprise environments.
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Experience working within government or defence sectors is highly advantageous.
- Relevant SAP, PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile certifications preferred.
