About the End Client

The end client operates within a large, highly regulated environment, undertaking a significant HR transformation to modernise systems, processes and workforce capabilities.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP HR Functional Consultant to lead the design, configuration and delivery of SAP HR solutions within a complex enterprise environment. This role will involve end-to-end solution ownership, working closely with both business and technical stakeholders to enhance HR processes and support major transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration and implementation of SAP HR modules including Personnel Administration (PA), Organisational Management (OM), Time Management and Payroll
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system configurations
  • Provide expert advice on SAP best practices and process optimisation across HR and integrated systems
  • Develop functional documentation, including configuration guides and solution design documents
  • Support testing cycles, defect resolution and validation of HR processes
  • Assist with deployment, cutover and post-go-live support
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, engagement sessions and user training
  • Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, enhancements and reporting requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure system compliance and data integrity
Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as an SAP HR Functional Consultant in large and complex organisations
  • Strong expertise across SAP HR modules: PA, OM, Time Management and Payroll
  • Experience designing and configuring SAP HR solutions aligned to business and legislative requirements
  • Full lifecycle ERP implementation or major upgrade experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Australian Citizenship and AGSVA Baseline Clearance required
  • NV1 Clearance highly desirable
Desirable Experience

  • Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors or hybrid HR environments
  • Experience within government or large public sector organisations
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and change management practices
