Our client is a leading professional services and consulting firm, delivering strategy, technology, systems integration, and operations support across industries including Government, Financial Services, and Utilities.
They are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP SCM Transportation Management (TM) Consultant to join a large-scale transformation program with one of their Government clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a complex enterprise environment, driving end-to-end SAP TM solutions and delivering impactful supply chain outcomes.
About the Role:
You will play a key leadership role in designing and delivering SAP S/4HANA TM solutions, working closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and effective system designs. This role requires deep expertise across supply chain processes and strong hands-on experience in SAP TM implementation.
Security Requirements
- Australian Citizenship (mandatory)
- AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance required
- NV1 Clearance preferred
- Lead SAP S/4HANA TM solution design, including blueprinting, configuration, and documentation
- Provide expert guidance across TM capabilities including planning, execution, freight costing, and settlement
- Deliver end-to-end configuration across Order Management, Carrier Selection, Freight Execution, and Costing
- Integrate SAP TM with core modules such as EWM, MM, SD, and Finance
- Facilitate workshops and gather business requirements to design robust solutions
- Support data migration, testing, defect resolution, and cutover activities
- Provide thought leadership on best practices and optimisation opportunities
- Mentor junior consultants and support overall delivery quality
- Engage senior stakeholders and represent TM in governance forums
- Produce detailed functional specifications (RICEFW)
- Ensure solutions meet Australian regulatory and security requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management implementations
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes
- Proven experience leading design workshops and engaging senior stakeholders
- Expertise integrating TM with EWM, SD, MM, Finance, and external systems
- Deep understanding of TM master data, planning strategies, transportation modelling, and charge calculation
- Experience with freight settlement and financial integration
- Background working on large-scale transformation programs
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Work on a high-profile transformation program
