About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Manager SME with strong SAP Basis consulting expertise to lead strategic SAP initiatives and provide expert guidance across complex SAP landscapes.
This is a senior-level position requiring deep technical knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and a proven track record delivering large-scale SAP projects within complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance on SAP Solution Manager architecture, configuration, integration and optimisation.
- Design and implement scalable SAP Solution Manager environments aligned with business objectives.
- Lead end-to-end SAP Solution Manager projects, coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement across SAP Basis and Solution Manager platforms.
- Identify, assess and mitigate risks associated with SAP implementations, upgrades and migrations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partners and technology providers.
- Mentor and support junior consultants, fostering capability uplift and knowledge sharing.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, translating business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance standards to ensure successful project delivery.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Extensive experience as an SAP Basis Consultant
with strong expertise in:
- SAP Solution Manager
- SAP ECC
- SAP HANA
- SAP S/4HANA
- Strong knowledge of:
- SAP Solution Manager administration
- Monitoring and performance tuning
- Security management
- Backup and recovery processes
- Advanced understanding of SAP NetWeaver technologies.
- Proven experience in SAP HANA administration and database management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex SAP projects and deliver successful business outcomes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and consulting skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within fast-paced project environments.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
