About the Client

Our client is a reputable organisation in charge of maintaining peace and order within society. With many digital transformation projects and large-scale solutions, our client is on the lookout for a ICT Master Scheduler for current projects.

About the role:

The SAP Technical Project Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day planning, coordination, and delivery of SAP project workstreams within the SAP Upgrade Project. The role has a strong hands‑on focus and is accountable for driving SAP technical delivery activities to ensure solutions are built, configured, tested, and delivered in line with approved scope, schedule, quality, and budget.

Working under the direction of the Senior Project Manager – SAP, the SAP Technical Project Manager is responsible for the practical management of SAP delivery activities, including detailed work planning, coordination of SAP functional and technical resources, oversight of configuration and build activities, and active management of risks, issues, and dependencies. The role requires a strong understanding of SAP architecture, modules, and integration points to effectively translate business requirements into workable SAP solutions.

The SAP Technical Project Manager works closely with SAP functional consultants, developers, basis, integration teams, the internal ERP Platform team, and the implementation vendor to ensure day‑to‑day delivery activities are aligned, technically sound, and progressing as planned. This includes reviewing designs, monitoring build and configuration progress, coordinating testing activities, resolving technical issues, and supporting cutover and deployment planning.

The role also works directly with business stakeholders and process owners to clarify requirements, manage priorities, and ensure SAP deliverables meet business expectations and are fit for purpose. A key focus is ensuring smooth integration between SAP components and dependent systems, and that SAP deliverables are ready for operational handover.
