About the Role
Our client seeking an experienced SAS Tester /Engineer to support testing, validation, and quality assurance for CCR (SAS-based data platform). The role involves hands-on testing of SAS jobs, data validation, automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data ingestion, transformation, and reporting in a regulated environment.
Location: Sydney
Key Responsibilities
- Test, validate, and maintain SAS jobs for data ingestion, transformation, and output generation.
- Design, create, and execute test plans, test strategies, and test cases for CCR team (SAS platform).
- Perform manual and automated testing of SAS processes.
- Use JIRA and XRAY for test management, defect tracking, and reporting.
- Validate data extracts and transformations by collaborating with upstream and downstream teams.
- Perform data reconciliation and validation across source and target systems.
- Participate in SRDE-related meetings to assess risks, dependencies, and backlog planning.
- Contribute to AI test automation frameworks across multiple data platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAS 9.4 / SAS Viya.
- Proficiency in SAS testing, data validation, and data quality assurance.
- 5+ years of experience in test automation across data platforms.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and languages such as Python, SAS, TypeScript, or similar.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- 6-month initial contract with likely extensions.
- Based in Sydney CBD with Hybrid working arrangements.
