About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master (EL1 equivalent) to support the delivery of complex ICT programs within an Agile environment.
Working under broad direction, you will play a key role in leading Scrum teams, facilitating Agile delivery, and ensuring consistent project outcomes across a large and dynamic program of work. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement skills, delivery focus, and the ability to operate across multiple workstreams.
Role Responsibilities
- Facilitate multiple Scrum teams within an Agile delivery framework
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Manage sprint and release planning aligned to program timelines
- Support Product Owners with backlog management and prioritisation
- Track delivery performance using tools such as Jira (velocity, burn charts)
- Coach teams on Agile principles and improve Scrum maturity
- Identify and remove impediments impacting delivery
- Ensure governance, reporting, and risk escalation aligns with frameworks
- Engage effectively with stakeholders across program and project teams
- Minimum 3 years’ experience delivering complex ICT projects using Agile methodologies
- Strong understanding and practical application of SAFe
- Experience collaborating with Business Analysts to refine user stories
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing environments
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or Agile/Project Management certifications
- Experience delivering large-scale ICT programs within Government
- Exposure to data migration or enterprise information systems
- 12-month contract with a 12-month extension option
- Hybrid working arrangements (minimum 3 days onsite)
