About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a high-performing project and portfolio team supporting a major data and regulatory reporting initiative. This role will focus on delivering business analysis across policy implementation, data collection, and reporting activities.
This is a 6-month contract commencing in August 2026, with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather and refine requirements
- Translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable business solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business and project outcomes
- Manage DevOps boards and support Agile delivery practices
- Oversee UAT processes and support system testing activities
- Conduct data analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and solution options
- Develop process maps, reports, and business documentation
- Support change initiatives, training delivery, and stakeholder engagement
- 5–10 years’ experience in Business Analysis or related discipline
- Strong experience in regulatory reporting (essential)
- Background within financial services (banking, insurance, or superannuation)
- Proven experience working in regulatory environments
- End-to-end project delivery experience including requirements, UAT, and implementation
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with DevOps boards and Agile delivery methodologies
- Ability to work across both technical/data and business domains
- Previous experience in a regulated environment or government agency
- Familiarity with regulatory data collections and reporting frameworks
- Exposure to process mapping (as-is / to-be) and impact analysis
- Experience facilitating workshops and leading requirement sessions
- Sydney CBD location
- Hybrid working model (minimum 50% onsite requirement)
- 38 hours per week engagement
- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Ability to obtain / hold Baseline security clearance and complete background checks
