About the role:
The Change Manager is to lead and facilitate end to end change strategies across a designated scheme or portfolio that supports successful delivery of projects and business led initiatives to achieve strategic outcomes.
You will also need to be able to coach and enable business leaders to execute and embed sustainable change within their teams, ensuring expected outcomes and benefits are achieved through a positive change experience for our people, stakeholders and those we serve.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Manage the design and delivery of end-to-end change management for the designated scheme/initiatives using the Change Management Framework and Project Management Framework where appropriate.
- Manage and deliver an effective Change plan working with change support areas such as Communications, Capability, Customer Experience and People & Culture as required to maximise adoption of the change Identify and assess the impacts and risks of change and ensure the right interventions are designed, delivered and monitored and address change resistance for those impacted.
- Facilitate collaborative design of and a shared vision and ownership of change, leading the co-design and delivery of effective change interventions, testing, learning and adapting the change approach as needed. Design, monitor and report change deliverables and success measures, including the speed of adoption,
- extent of uptake and proficiency, and realisation of benefits.
- Ensure there is effective monitoring in place of change, including the speed of adoption, extent of uptake and proficiency, and that the change has been well embedded to ensure sustained results and benefits realisation
- Partner with business leaders and provide the appropriate level of support and guidance for all changes impacting their area.
- Manage and support the design, and delivery of effective communications, working with the relevant Communications Team/s.
- Identify and develop a trusted adviser relationship with project stakeholders and Business Leaders.
- 7+ years’ experience with Technology or process-based change projects.
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
- Demonstrated strength in project managing challenging interdependent programs and initiatives with multiple, invested stakeholders.
- Analysis of complex issues, strategic problem solving.
- Thinks commercially and systematically with proven ability to think outside the box and provide creative solutions.
- Highly motivated and engaging individual with exceptional stakeholder management skills, who will listen, consult, and work in close partnership with stakeholders.
- Highly developed collaborative and partnering approach to stakeholder management
- Builds and maintains effective relationships and can influence individuals across all levels of the organisation
- Highly developed communication, presentation and facilitation skills, with experience presenting to senior audiences
- Applies in depth knowledge and a variety of tools and techniques to resolve problems, identify causes, anticipate implications and make informed decisions
- Demonstrates business acumen and an understanding of the organisational landscape to drive change outcomes
- Can operate at both macro and micro levels simultaneously
