Our client is a high‑profile Australian Government organisation operating at the forefront of national security, cyber defence and advanced technology. They play a critical role in protecting Australia from global threats and supporting national interests through cutting‑edge cyber and intelligence capabilities.

About the role
As a DevOps Engineer you will work closely with development teams to provide (and support) the environment needed to deliver the organisation’s services quickly and efficiently, using automation and self-service.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Support Azure pipeline development and cloud migration efforts.
  • Configure and manage Windows application servers and IIS web applications.
  • Provide ongoing support for CI/CD toolsets and troubleshoot performance issues.
Technical Skills
  • Strong IT infrastructure background with expertise in DevOps methodologies and cloud architecture.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and automation.
The successful candidate will demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 5.

What is on offer
  • 12-month contract, with 2 x 12-month extension options.
  • Competitive hourly rate.
Security Requirements:

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a current TSPV Security Clearance. The successful candidate will need to undergo an additional security assessment before commencing in the role.
