About the Role
An excellent opportunity exists for a Senior ECM OpenText Developer to play a key role in delivering enterprise content management (ECM) solutions across a major government program.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing OpenText-based solutions, ensuring alignment with data governance, compliance, and security requirements. The role also involves collaborating across business and technical teams to drive content strategy, system integration, and user adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise content management solutions using the OpenText platform
- Configure and optimise OpenText Content Server / XECM environments
- Develop and maintain content strategies and governance frameworks
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure system integration and compliance with security standards
- Provide user training, support, and enablement to drive platform adoption
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex ECM system issues
- Contribute to documentation, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
- 10+ years experience delivering ECM/CCM solutions, primarily within the OpenText suite
- Strong expertise across:
- OpenText Content Server / XECM
- Service Manager (DSMS), UCMDB, Operations Orchestration
- Proven experience in data governance, compliance, and content management frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with the ability to work across complex enterprise environments
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Experience working within federal government environments
- Relevant OpenText certifications
- Degree in Information Technology or related discipline
- Must hold an active NV1 or NV2 security clearance
- Must be based in Canberra or Melbourne with the ability to work on-site in Ballarat
- Long-term 3-year contract engagement
