User Interface Designers guide the research, selection, design and implementation of user interfaces.
Primary Duties:
- Leading User Experience and User Interface (UX/UI) design and implementation activities for applications on the Department’s Enterprise Pega platform.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to define and refine the vision of User Experience and User Interface (UX/UI) design for new initiatives and identifying opportunities for digital transformation across the Branch.
- Collaborating across the business to influence User Experience and User Interface (UX/UI) design best practices and promote delivery of these designs to ensure they are aligned with Government priorities, architectural parameters, and best practice(s).
- Reviewing, understanding, and identifying opportunities within the current state User Experience and User Interface (UX/UI) technology landscape, including applicable legacy applications and integrations.
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on translating service design and digital concepts into business benefits and deliverables including UX/UI re-usable implementation patterns.
- Coordinating with relevant stakeholders to be the Department’s Enterprise Pega platform point of contact to ensure that the UX/UI designs and implementations are compliant with relevant Guidelines.
- Supporting the analysis, development, and delivery of software solutions
Location and Contract Term: This role can be based in ACT, VIC, NSW, SA or QLD . Contract till 30 June 2027 with 1x12 - month contract extension options pending budget and delegate approval.
Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian Citizens and hold a baseline security clearance.
